War Memorials and Religious Liberty Under Attack

Andy Ngo, the citizen journalist who covered the Seattle and Portland riots including the deadly CHAZ occupation, reported yesterday a Christian worship event was targeted by Antifa and other left wing radicals in a Seattle City Park. And worse yet, the Mayor blamed the Christians for holding a public worship ceremony in the first place. At least the Police arrested the protesters and not the permitted group (this time).

Supporters of War Memorials have cautioned that they were religious symbols and that removing them would set bad precedent. Their pleas fell on deaf ears in numerous city halls, county commission chambers and courthouses. Now we have this. Makes you wonder if suppressing religious expression in public wasn't the objective from the start.

Andy Ngo was almost killed by Antifa for exposing their operations, including writing a book about them. Andy's parents fled Vietnam in 1978 as boat people after being forced into labor and re-education camps by the Communist government. They spent six months in a United Nations refugee camp, where they met, until they were accepted by the United States in 1979.
